Whether you come for snowy winter days, long summer evenings, colourful autumn landscapes or the first signs of spring, we want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Our goal is simple: to offer a comfortable and welcoming cabin where families and friends can relax, enjoy nature and create memories together.

A cabin for every season
Trysil is a destination worth discovering all year round. Winter brings snow, skiing and cosy evenings by the fire. Spring offers peace, fresh air and nature coming back to life. Summer is perfect for hiking, cycling and long Scandinavian evenings, while autumn fills the forests with beautiful colours.
At Hyttekos Trysil, you can combine outdoor adventures with time to unwind. After a day in nature, come home, relax in the jacuzzi, enjoy the warmth of the sauna or simply spend a quiet evening together.

How it started
Hyttekos Trysil started with a simple idea: to create a place where we ourselves would love to spend time with family and friends.
We were looking for somewhere surrounded by nature, away from the rush of everyday life, but still close enough to everything that makes Trysil special. A place for winter weekends, summer adventures, quiet mornings and long evenings together.
Over time, the cabin became our own little project. We have continuously worked to make it more comfortable, practical and enjoyable – adding the details and facilities that we appreciate ourselves when travelling.
Eventually, we decided that this experience was too good to keep to ourselves.
Today, we are happy to open the doors of Hyttekos Trysil to guests from near and far, and we hope you will enjoy this place as much as we do.
Our philosophy
For us, a great stay is about more than a comfortable bed and a beautiful location. It is about feeling welcome, having everything you need and being able to enjoy your time without unnecessary complications.
That is why we try to keep Hyttekos Trysil comfortable, practical and personal. We take care of the cabin as a place we enjoy ourselves and ask our guests to treat it with the same care.
We also believe that some of the best moments are the simplest ones – breakfast together, fresh snow outside the window, a walk through the forest, relaxing in warm water after a long day, or simply sitting together with nowhere else to be.
That feeling is what “hyttekos” means to us.
